My favorite links from this week:
- The Global Middle Class
- A chilling description of future cyber warfare
- Aristotle’s Wheel Paradox
- NPR says that 2/3 of reported school shootings never happened
- Amazon responds to Bernie Sanders
- Amazing: Frank Klepacki Plays Redalert 1 2 & 3 On Guitar
- When travelling, avoid the algorithmic trap (I try to do this on road trips)
- Buffer CEO Joel Gascoigne writes about buying back series A investor shares (would love to read a candid opinion from the investor perspective)
- We now understand how birds can see the earth’s magnetic fields to orient themselves
- Laws and Sausages: The Filibuster (if you haven’t read this, it’s great. A comic that educates about government and civics.)
Lastly, I reasd through Mario Puzo’s The Godfather (which the movie was based on) in something like 3 days. It was an easy, fun read, so much so that I’ve moved on to the next book, The Sicilian. Reading goals for this year are on-track (40 books).
