The job: Capture tasting notes during a wine-country trip and find them again months later when opening a bottle at home.
We take a trip, taste a few dozen wines across half a dozen wineries, and write down nothing because we’re too busy enjoying ourselves. Six months later one of those bottles comes out of the rack and neither of us can remember which winery it came from. The killer feature isn’t the trip companion, it’s the at-home recall: type the producer, see every tasting note across every trip. SwiftUI, SwiftData, local-only for the personal-beta MVP. A 2024 first pass got the data model backwards (Trip as the spine instead of Winery); the rebuild fixes that and a few other things I missed the first time around.
